Features

These great blocks that were made exclusively for Craftsbury Kids are now popping up in Cookie Magazine among other places. Here is a cute article on them. This is a great online magazine, if for some reason you have not yet heard of it - ?!

New Style Baby Shirts

Here is a new shirt just for little babies, from size newborn to 18 months. French seams and pearl metal snaps, and a delightful Peter Pan collar. In our attempt to carry more boys or gender neutral items, we are offering this new little shirt in a fun little dots pattern, in blues and lovely greens.

Itty Bitty Booties™

Our Itty Bitty Booties™ are back in stock, in new fabrics.

These are available in size 3-6 months.

Angel Blouse

Just like out Basque Blouse, but with a flared short sleeve.

Available in sizes 12 months to 6T.

Necessity is the Mother of Invention

Here, we have created a longer-sleeved version of our blouse, minus the shirring. A great casual-style top, but dressy enough for little girls who like more than a plain ol' t-shirt.

As always, we use French seams and never any serging, and the hems are done in 100% cotton bias trim for a very finished look, inside and out. Like we have always said, we like out products to look just as good when you turn them inside-out.

Squirrel Lounge Set for Mahar Drygoods.

Some of you already know we have been offering some exclusive items though other companies, such as the uber-cool Mahar Drygoods.
We have collaborated to offer a squirrel set which has been available for some time, but we are currently in the process of creating a new and better set, with the option of skirt or pant. Here is a preview of the new shirt and skirt, which may be offered as a reversible (and perhaps the pants as well - ?).

We hope you like it - we sure do!

Vintage Horsies

Just one more thing I am really fond of: vintage cowboy themes.

I am a big sucker for anything vintage cowboy. Probably always will be.

These flannel pants are made for running around the house on cool winter evenings. Or, in Isabel's case, wearing while tearing around the house on her vintage Radio Flyer tooting her horn (with no hands) at full blast. Gotta love the little dears. Dressing them cute helps.

Here you can see the slight difference in the Baby Pant versus the Teenie Yogini™ for toddlers. The baby pant is fuller in the butt and slightly narrower in the leg, and the toddler (Yogini) pant has a pretty full leg and relatively shorter rise.

New FAB-rics.

Oh, I am such a fabric freak. This is my new favorite fabric juxtaposition, in one of the super-cool little reversible twirl skirts. What parent doesn't love clothes you can remove, flip over, and put back on, when in a pinch?

Cool Fabrics.

As we broaden our collection of fabrics, you will find more and more new and interesting fabrics listed on the site. One of our new favorites is this über-cool woodgrain fabric which we think lends itself very nicely to our classic Baby Drool Bib.

What a unique and fun little gift this would make!

Baby Pants.

Now available in linen and this gorgeous turquoise striped bottom-weight, the new baby pants have a roomy leg, although slightly narrower than the Teenie Yogini™ pant. This was designed to help prevent your little rocket launcher from getting pant legs in a bind as they are just learning the ropes. Easy care, 100% cotton.

The baby pants are also a bit higher in the rise and roomier in the hiney to accommodate big diaper butts.

Linen, Linen, Linen

The first of many linen products we hope to carry, these pants have a lovely soft ethereal feeling to them. Sure to be a favorite of your sweetie. Available in size newborn to size 6. Great for a girl or a boy.

Garden Jackets are In

Made out of fabulous heavy-weight Vintage-Style ticking, these great little jackets are perfect for layering when you are not sure how the weather is going to act, or good alone for on warmer Dall or Spring days. They come in sizes 1-4, and are 100% cotton ticking and completely machine washable.

Also, perfect paired with one of our Reversible Skirts, or with some of the wide-legged Teenie Yogini Pants.

Starting Over with the Blog

We have decided to start over with the blog. It was months and months since we last posted on the old Babyfairies blog, and when I went back I had one thought: "Yuck."

So.... we will try to post new things, and updates on what is going on with Babyfairies.

Some of you may notice a new look to the site. We have changed the cart, and although it is still a work in progress, we are very happy with the new look as well as the functionality of the new shopping cart. We hope you like it too.

Many of the same classic items are still in stock or gradually making their way back to the site, and we are adding new items as well. Some of the new items include Reversible Skirts, and out new 1920's Romper. Although they aren't all yet posted, we will have lots more fabric versions as we get the time to post them.

As always, we love hearing from you. Don't hesitate to write us and say "Hello!"
